Culloden House Westward Ho! is a family run and owned Bed & Breakfast.
We offer accommodation in a house full of character, warmth, charm and rich local social history.
The house was built in 1865 as a Victorian Gentleman’s residence for Colonel Fredrick Hutchinson, a founding member of the Royal North Devon Golf Club, the first links course in England. The house still features many of the original aspects of a grand hall, high ceilings and spectacular views across the sea to Baggy Point and Lundy Island.
We are only a stroll away from the SW coastal path, beaches, promnade ,Golf course, restaurants and pubs.
We aim to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable in our relaxed surroundings with a peronal service.

Standard Doubles with En-suite (some of these rooms are located on the 2nd floor with fairly steep stair access,please call if you have difficulties with stairs)
Twin rooms with En-suite which are also let at reduced rate for Single occupancy.
There is a ground floor Twin bedroom for those who find stairs difficult.

Enjoy our freshly prepared breakfasts sourced from local produce where ever possible; we are keen supporters of Devon farmers and quality English produce. Breakfast is served in the Golfston Room looking out over Westward Ho, beach and the North Devon coast. Vegetarian options and special dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

Try some of the many outdoor activities on the scenic coast such as kite surfing, body boarding, land yachting or walking the south west coastal path . Enjoy leisurely pursuits such as rambling the unspoilt rolling countryside, riding & Fishing, cycling the tarka trail , exploring the pretty villages and visiting historic houses and gardens.
